Reiterating our advice for individuals seeking Canadian permanent residency in the face of increased Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) scores in Express Entry draws.

International students seeking permanent residency in Canada can enroll in a Masters degree at one of the qualified universities instead of getting LMIAs or operating payrolls, which will:

Improve their academic performance in preparation for future work opportunities.

Give them the right to remain in Canada as students and a much higher chance of obtaining permanent status.

Because a job offer is not required for the OINP Masters Graduate Stream, it is recommended to spend your money on developing your professional profile rather than obtaining employment offers, LMIAs, or payrolls.

So far, the OINP Expression of Interest has yielded a total of 4,586 invitations to permanent residency.

So far, the Foreign Worker stream has sent the most: 3,117 invitations, trailing only the Masters Graduate stream, which has received approximately 1,300 invitations.

Masters Graduate stream sent the highest number of invitations in 2023.
